This Black Dog Forex review is a totally independent review undertaken by myself covering fourteen months of daily use. Its an extensive review which has taken in all market conditions including the times when the markets are at their most difficult.
I used the 15 minute time frame as this was recommended by the author but it is possible to operate the system successfully on 4 hour and even daily charts. The test has run from August 2009 to October 2010 and in that time I have gained 3554 pips at an average of 63 pips a week. These have been very steady gains with no large draw downs & with a maximum risk of 20 pips per trade. Whilst the system is excellent its only one part of the Black Dog ‘experience’. The customer service is outstanding but it’s the community spirit in the forums and live trading room that really makes this the best income generator I have come across. The more experienced trader make daily entries in their online Forum ‘journals’ detailing their daily trades with comments and charts whilst the trading room contains traders who flag up potential trades. Some of the more experienced traders will also give live trading lessons using Black Dog via Skype.
The system itself is based on a series of indicators which are really easy to set up and require an MT4 broker platform. This is the most common Forex charting programme around and will be available from pretty much all the major brokers. The manuals are well written and it won’t be long before you are able to spot potential set ups on your charts
All brokers have demo accounts which you can load the Black Dog system onto and it’s a good idea to run it on there for 2-4 weeks – from my experience though it won’t take long before you’re confident enough to get onto a live account.
Its difficult to find any downside to the Black Dog system and I use it now as my primary Forex trading tool – you don’t even have to watch the charts as audio alarms are triggered by the trade signals themselves!
